WMAZ engineer travels to Louisiana to help TV stations with storm coverage

13WMAZ engineer Rad Maddox loading up the station's satellite truck Wednesday morning before heading to Louisiana to help provide support to our TEGNA stations impacted by the storm.

Harvey has affected thousands of people and continues to drift slowly through parts of Texas and toward Louisiana.

WMAZ's sister station in Houston experienced severe flooding as a result of Harvey. Harvey struck KHOU-TV as a category four hurricane and has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm.

We have sent one of our own to New Orleans, Louisiana to help with disaster relief and coverage in the area.

WMAZ engineer Rad Maddox took off with the WMAZ satellite truck earlier today willing to help in any way he can.
