Two men could face the death penalty for an August 2008 shooting.

Houston County District Attorney Kelly Burke says Joshua Rounsoville and Stewart Brannon were in court Monday morning to formally face murder charges.

Both entered pleas of "not guilty."

They're accused of killing Mario Smith in August 2008.

Smith's body was found outside the Glass Doctor on Watson Boulevard.

Police say Smith was shot, and his body was in one of several storage bins that the business rents to the public.

Burke says he's asking for the death penalty in the case because the shooting took place as part of an armed robbery.

Rounsoville is already serving a life sentence in a separate case.

In September he was convicted of shooting Zapareo Glover in a robbery outside the Forsyth Dairy Queen.

That shooting happened about two weeks before Mario Smith's death. Glover survived the shooting but is paralyzed.
