Police: Man murdered after meeting women on dating site

The shooting happened on Tunbridge Wells Crescent in Lithonia early Thursday morning around 1:30.

LITHONIA, Ga. -- Police have arrested four people in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this month.

On September 1, two brothers, Jordan and Chad Collins were babysitting for a relative when they invited two women Jordan met on the dating site plentyoffish.com to the home on Tunbridge Wells Crescent.

DeKalb Police Lt. Mark Lavinge said the shooting happened outside in the backyard.

According to DeKalb County Police Department, Jordan, 23, went outside to check on the dogs barking. That's when police said two more suspects were waiting for him.

"There was a commotion outside and he was shot. When the older brother went outside to investigate what happened, he was shot. He ran back inside and got the kids to another's relative's house to safety,"  Lavinge said.

Chad, 24, was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital. Jordan died on the scene.

Detectives arrested 25-year-old Antonio Avery, 27-year-old Demarco Butler, 21-year-old Nashea Poole and 24-year-old Clarissa McGhee. They are each charged with murder and aggravated assault. DeKalb police said robbery could be the motive.
