Kids Learn from 'Head to Toe' Air Date: 5/8/2008
Junior Journalist: Rebecka Bence
A new exhibit at the Museum of Arts and Sciences has kids pumped up about the human body.

At the Head to Toe exhibit, you can learn how hard your heart works, why you have fingerprints, and why your pupils react to light.

Head to Toe has over a dozen hands-on educational activities that show how the human body works.

You can catch it at the museum until the end of August.

Jim Greenhouse works at the museum and says you won't see this exhibit anywhere else.

"The exhibition actually came from Seattle, Washington. It's a traveling exhibition that's going all around the United States and we're lucky enough to have it here in Macon. This is, I believe, the only location in the southeastern part of the United States where people can come and see the Head to Toe Exhibit," he said.

You can visit the Museum of Arts and Sciences on Forsyth road in Macon, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
