'Starbucks Uncle' finds internet fame after photo captures him in a flooding cafe

Neither rain nor snow or even flooding could stop "Starbucks Uncle" from enjoying his coffee.

A photo taken by 23-year-old Kristy Chen in a Hong Kong mall has gone viral. Chen told BBC that she was taking pictures and sending them back to her family to show how bad the flooding had gotten in the Chai Wan district in Hong Kong, China.

The viral photo depicts an older gentleman, affectionately named "Starbucks Uncle", enjoying a coffee at a Starbucks cafe, seemingly unaffected by the impeding floods.

Naturally, it has been taken over by the internet and "Starbucks Uncle" has been photoshopped into many meme-tasic photos.

"Starbucks Uncle" went viral after the picture was posted by TV Most, a local TV station in Hong Kong according to DailyMail.co.uk.
