Houston County District Attorney George Hartwig says no initial court appearance for Carmen Kaneisha Collins has been set.
The 17-year-old is charged with murder and arson after her 12-year-old sister was found dead in a fire at their home.
Hartwig says a court appearance could come as early as next week.
If the defense files paperwork, the earliest bond hearing could be set for would be Thursday he said.
The autopsy for India Collins is expected back today.
