From the Macon Police Department:
The Middle Georgia Christmas Parade kicks off at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Parking will be prohibited within the parade route from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Street closings are as follows:
Cherry Street from Fifth Street to First Street
First Street from Cherry to Mulberry
Mulberry from First to Fifth
MLK from Walnut to Poplar
Fifth Street from Mulberry to Oglethorpe
Free parking is available throughout Downtown at the following locations:
Poplar Street Parking Deck (475 Poplar Street)
Poplar Street surface lot (674 Poplar Street), surface lot on Fifth Street
Mulberry Street Garage (460 Mulberry Street - available after hours).
