The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has identified two people killed in a three-vehicle wreck on Interstate 75 Tuesday night.

They are 43-year-old Julius Battle, and his wife Levann, age 40, both of Forsyth, according to Monroe County sheriff's spokesperson Allison Selman-Willis.

She said the couple's daughter was a backseat passenger in their vehicle and survived the crash with some injuries.

Selman-Willis says the couple died after colliding with a tractor-trailer near mile marker 181, near Rumble Road, on I-75 south.

She said Julius Battle was driving.

Selman-Willis said no charges are expected.

Three cars were involved, including the tractor-trailer. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured and the driver of the other car involved in the crash had minor injuries.

The sheriff's department says southbound traffic on the interstate was completely blocked for about two hours.

The bodies were transported to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta.
