A Lizella man is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident in Houston County around noon Tuesday.

Viewer Melissa Powers sent us this photo after the wreck.

A news release from the sheriff's department says 25-year-old Daniel Cranford tried to pass a pickup truck that was making a left turn from Nelson Drive to Lakeview Drive.

They say his motorcycle struck the left side of the pickup.

The other driver was not injured.

The sheriff's department says Cranford is now in the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

They say nobody has been charged, and they're still investigating.
