The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

In a news release, the sheriff's office spokesman Sean Defoe says, according to a witness, 18-year-old Kendray Walden was at a party at the Travel Lodge hotel at 5000 Harrison Road around 4 a.m.

The release says when Walen went to the parking lot to look for his girlfriend, he got into a argument with several men. One of them shot Walden in the back of his left knee.

The suspects left the scene and Walden was taken to the hospital, where he is listed to be in stable condition, according to Defoe. No one else was injured during this incident.
