Greater Atlanta Christian beats Bleckley Co. 69-52

MACON, Ga. (AP) - Five players scored in double figures to lead Greater Atlanta Christian to a 69-52 victory over Bleckley County on Friday in the GHSA Class AA Boys state championship game at the Macon Coliseum.

Troy Morrison led the Spartans with 17 points and eight assists, Isaiah Wilkins added 12 points and 11 rebounds, Cam Boyd had 13 points, Justin Louis 11 and Collin Swinton 10.

The Spartans (29-3) won their third Class AA state championship in four years and their sixth overall in school history.

The Spartans used a 16-2 run to pull away early in the fourth quarter, bolstered by 18 points off turnovers and a 26-14 scoring advantage in the paint.

Rydealous Taylor led the Royals (28-4) with 20 points, and Demario Beck scored 14.

The Royals, playing in their first state championship game, led with 3:34 left to play in the third quarter before GAC's run.
