ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) -- There's a new UFO group in Roswell, New Mexico. But they're not looking for little green men -- more like little green birds. The Roswell area is, of course, the site of a supposed UFO crash in the late 1940s.
The Roswell incident helped to spark the flying saucer craze. The new UFO group is the United Field Ornithologists of Roswell. Ornithology is the study of birds.
Organization president Jeff Cohen tells a local paper (Daily Record) they're planning bird watching trips, a bird festival and other activities.
