NEW YORK (AP) -- As weather forecasters, groundhogs make pretty good -- rodents. Today is Groundhog Day.
But government weather watchers say there's nothing to the myth that if a groundhog sees its shadow, we're in for six more weeks of winter. There's barely been a winter in much of the country.
