Winds could bring smoke, haze from South Ga. wildfires to midstate Wednesday

As wildfires burn in south Georgia, south-southeast winds could bring some haze over the skies in central Georgia.

Don't be surprised if you see a little smoke or haze in the sky over central Georgia Wednesday thanks to south-southeast winds.

The winds are originating where the West Mims Fire is burning in Southeast Georgia.

Wednesday's weather will be hot, dry, and sunny and the smoke from the wildfires could try to push into central Georgia in the afternoon.
