Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Rory McIlroy won another PGA Tour Playoffs
event Sunday to remain comfortably in first, but Tiger Woods moved up one to
second in this week's world rankings.
McIlroy, who has won the PGA Championship, Deutsche Bank Championship and BMW
Championship since August, is well ahead, but Woods, who tied for fourth at
Crooked Stick slipped past Luke Donald into second. Donald is down to third.
Lee Westwood shared second place on Sunday, but held on to fourth. Adam Scott
tied for sixth to inch up one spot to fifth. Webb Simpson fell one to sixth,
while Jason Dufner, Bubba Watson and Justin Rose stayed in their spots from
last week. Louis Oosthuizen rose one to No. 10.
Steve Stricker fell a spot to 11th while Dustin Johnson, who has been top six
in all three Playoffs events, climbed two to No. 12. Keegan Bradley and Matt
Kuchar both fell a rung to 13th and 14th, respectively. Phil Mickelson
returned to the top 20 thanks to a tie for second and is up seven to 15th.
Zach Johnson stayed at No. 16 and Graeme McDowell dipped two to 17th. Sergio
Garcia, Brandt Snedeker and Hunter Mahan each slid a spot to round out the top
20.
