Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Jiyai Shin's epic playoff victory Monday
at the Kingsmill Championship moved the former world No. 1 up to 10th in this
week's world rankings.
Shin climbed three spots after she came back Monday morning to defeat Paula
Creamer on the ninth playoff hole.
Yani Tseng remained in first this week as she prepares to go for a third
straight Women's British Open title. Stacy Lewis, Na Yeon Choi, Shanshan Feng
and Ai Miyazato once again rounded out the top five.
Suzann Pettersen held on to the sixth spot, while Amy Yang and Sun Ju Ahn
switched places this week with Yang in seventh and Ahn down to eighth. Inbee
Park kept the ninth place followed by Shin.
Mika Miyazato stayed in 11th while Cristie Kerr dipped two to 12th. So Yeon
Ryu slid a notch to No. 13 and Creamer shot up four places to 14th. I.K. Kim
completed the top 15.
Brittany Lincicome fell two to 16th and Azahara Munoz dropped one to No. 17.
Angela Stanford moved up one to No. 18 and Sun Young Yoo sunk two to 19th.
Chie Arimura remained at No. 20.
