CUMMING, Ga. (AP) - Sheriff's officials in Forsyth County say they've recovered a 400-pound eagle sculpture, which was reported stolen from a park in the north Georgia county last month.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said in a statement Thursday morning that tips from people in the community led to the recovery of the sculpture. Sheriff's officials say it was found in good condition Wednesday night at a residence in the county.

Authorities said no arrests have been made, and the theft remains under investigation.

The bronze statue is believed to have been stolen from a park near a walking and biking path, at a trailhead of the Big Creek Greenway. Police say it probably took a team of people to lift the sculpture off its foundation Aug. 27 or Aug. 28.
