SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - More than 30 films have been selected for competition at the upcoming 2012 Savannah Film Festival.
The Savannah College of Art and Design announced that more than 1,000 entries were submitted from across the world. Those picked come from countries including Afghanistan, Argentina, Austria, New Zealand, Spain and the United Kingdom.
The Savannah Morning News (http://bit.ly/RPhfgk ) reports the filmmakers are competing for more than $80,000 in cash and prizes.
The festival is scheduled for Oct. 27 through Nov. 3.
