Former Warner Robins city council member Tom Simms Jr. was found dead in his home around noon Tuesday. He was 56.
Houston County coroner Danny Galpin says Simms apparently died of natural causes, and foul play is not suspected. An autopsy will be performed Wednesday morning.
He was found dead in his home on Gawin Drive.
He left the council last year after serving one term.
