Two new cell sites have been activated in Juliette, AT&T announced Tuesday
It's all a part of the company's effort to increase its wireless internet network, according to a news release from the company.
The service provider expects the new cell sites to "enhance network coverage for the area," according to a news release.
Crews installed the new cell sites north of Macon along US 23/SR 87 near Lake Juliette.
"More than ever before, customers look to wireless communications to stay in touch with family, friends and business colleagues," Sylvia Russell, President of AT&T Georgia says in the news release. "We're working to make this possible by investing in enhanced wireless coverage in middle Georgia and across the state."
