The Macon Touchdown Club met tonight for their annual jamboree honoring their 2012 football honorees.
The scholar athletes award winners for this year were Robert Nikolaus Anderson of Mount de Sales:
Scott McCormick of FPD: Jordi Gaton from Stratford Academy and Rutland's Clifford "CJ" Kleckley.
Former Auburn Head Coach Gene Chizic was guest speaker and helped with the awards. The Macon Touchdown Club's top 3 awards were Ortho Georgia Back of the Year, Noah Grayer, of Westside.
Next was, the Ortho Georgia Lineman of the Year which was given to Central's captain linebacker, Nigel Bowden.
And lastly the U PARK EM U SELL EM, Special Team Player of the Year was given to FPD's standout placekicker, Connor Albright
They also honored their Super 7 that included Dooly County's Montravius Adams who headlines the list as the Elmo Richardson Player of the Year. The remaining players were:

The two coaches honored were State Coach of the Year- Chip Walker, Sandy Creek and the
Marvin Davis, local coach of the year, Greg Moore, FPD.
