Briana Williams led the team in scoring last season. This year an injury left her sidelined. She's practicing and hopes to join be back in uniform next fall.

Susie and her Bears plan to do "Mercer on a Mission" this summer and travel to Ghana to play games and build houses.

Kate Alemann is a newcomer to the Bears this year. She is from New Zealand. She is also fluent in French.

This year Daniel Coursey is ranked fifth in the conference when it comes to blocked shots. He has 29.

Hoffman gets so passionate during games that he has lost his voice a time or two.

Bob Hoffman came to the Bears after serving as head coach of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. They were an NBA development franchise.

This year both the Mercer men's and women's teams have had excpetional seasons. The men went undefeated at Hawkins Arena and the women had a twelve game winning streak.
