Black smoke poured from the top of the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican this morning. The dark smoke indicates the Cardinals have yet to elect a new Pope.

Following lunch and a siesta, the Cardinals will continue the conclave and hold another vote this afternoon. That vote may happen around 2:00 p.m., eastern time.

It takes 77 votes to be elected as the Holy Father.
