The Central Georgia Tech basketball program is only in its second year of existence, yet they still recognize a good rivalry when they see it. This weekend is round two of the Cougars facing the Middle Georgia College Warriors in a key conference matchup.

The Lady Cougars are currently in the middle of a 3 game winning streak right in time for the Lady Warriors who are 11-2 and who also beat the Cougars earlier this season.
But first year head coach Fala Bullock says she is more confident this go around.

"We're gonna play hard, and our freshman are going to go out there and do their thing and run the floor", says Coach Bullock. "And our sophmores are going to go out and lead, and I think as a whole we really have a good chance of winning."

Treutlen County standout Christa Moore adds, "We're very excited. We really want to get this conference win. This will be a good win under our belt. We're coming into practice focused."

"We are on a 3 game winning streak, and I feel like with us if we come out and continue and play hard and push and work, I think we'll come out with the victory," echoes freshman Jasmine Grier.

The big game this weekend between Middle Georgia College and Central Georgia Tech will be a doubleheader on Saturday at the Cougar facilities on Rocky Creek Road.
