For the second straight year, the Central Chargers ended the regular season as top seeds going into the region tournament.
But last year the Chargers lost in the first round ending their season before a playoff run.
This year the orange and blue ran the table, winning the region over Westside 58-55.
Now the Andre Taylor coached team has their eyes set on making a run for a possible state title.
The Chargers boast a proud tradition and recent history of winning three regions in the past 6 seasons.
The 20-7 ball club is currently on a 9 game winning streak and Coach Taylor hopes the Chargers are just heating up. "Playing is nice", says Taylor. "We have different players step up and take on that roll of, if it's scoring and different ones that have lead throughout the season with scoring. It's a team we don't have to rely on anyone to take us through or any one person"
