Last season, the highest paid NFL player, Charles Johnson was worth 34 million dollars. The Carolina defensive lineman used that fame and wealth to give back to his community this weekend.

Johnson, a Hawkinsville native and Red Devil alumnus, returned to his hometown this weekend to host a camp for kids. The football camp was held at Bobby Gentry Stadium and was the first time that the Charles Johnson foundation hosted the two day camp.

However, Johnson was not the only NFL star that could be seen at the camp. More than ten pros from Jacksonville Jaguar Corey Irvin to Titans Fernando Velasco were present at the camp to support Johnson and his camp.

Johnson says that he plans on hosting the camp again next year.
