It was East against West in Warner Robins Tuesday night. Both teams went into the contest undefeated and looking for a spot in Thursday's championship game.
West got on the board first with an RBI single by Leyton Pinckney. West ended the first inning with a two-run lead.
In the top of the second, East capitalized on a wild pitch that gave time for Chandler Conger to slide home.
West started to take control in the bottom of the third. Leyton Pinckney hits a grand slam to give West a five-run advantage.
West went on to defeat East 14 to 3.
"I felt like the difference in the game was the walks," said West coach Martin Pinckney. "The hits were about the same. The defense was about the same. So at the end of the day the difference in the game was just that they walked a lot of people and we didn't."
West will play in the championship game on Thursday. They could face East again if they can make it through the other side of the bracket.
