Jones County fielded a couple of talented all star softball teams this year and they're both going to the World Series.
The Jones County 10U and 8U girls teams defeated both squads from Baldwin County to make it to the Dixie Youth World Series.
The girls will represent the Peach State in Georgetown, South Carolina.
"This is just a fantastic group of girls", says Karla Tuggle 10 and Under Head Coach. "I mean the sweetest girls I have ever coached, the most talented group of girls I ever coached. For us to win the state championship like we did up in Milledgeville a week ago, this girls derserve to be there."
The 10U girls will face South Carolina on Saturday, while the 8U squad will take on the Tennessee group.
