Pool play is over for the Southeastern Little League baseball Regionals and its almost time to crown a champion. The Warner Robins All Stars are looking for just 2 more wins, for their fourth Southeast Title in 6 years.
This morning team Georgia got in an extra practice away from the ballpark, to take in some batting practice and fielding before Wednesdays semi final matchup.
After Georgia's opening loss, the coaches say the team has settled down and playing ball more like the team that they were used to seeing during the state tournament.
"You know I told the boys yesterday and the day before it was win or go home Saturday and they were trailing and came back and won the ball game," says WRALL coach Buddy Deal. "It was win or go home yesterday. Went out and performed and had a clutch pitching performance from Kody Winner. Guys played solid defense behind him. I tell them all the time defense wins championships if you don't give them up you don't score them and we're out here working on that today."
The winner of Wednesdays game advances to the championship game Friday versus the winner of the North Carolina- Tennessee game.
