Bobcats Win Home Opener
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Georgia College men's basketball team (3-1) won its home opener for the seventh straight season Wednesday night, taking down Clark Atlanta University (0-4) 61-53 at the Centennial Center.
The Bobcats got a balanced effort, with three scorers in double figures and 10 of the 11 players that saw action also reaching the scoring column. Sophomore forward David Wagner tallied a game-high 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting.
#15 WARRIORS DEFEAT AIKEN TECH
Cochran, GA - Shane Heyward led Middle Georgia to a 69-51 win over Aiken Tech on Wednesday.
Heyward scored 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Baldwin County graduate Roshaun Milline added 13 points. Joey Harris grabbed 7 rebounds, and Earl Lawrence dished out 7 assists.
Head Coach Scott Moe was happy with the effort " I thought defensively we played well tonight, but offensively we got work to do."
The Warriors move to 7-0 on the season. They return to action on Monday when they host CVCC @ 7:30pm at the Morris Gymnasium
