A young woman plans to hurdle her way through college at Clemson University.
Anasterasia Terrell put the purple-and-orange hat on Thursday morning in the foyer at Howard High School.
She then proceeded to sign her scholarship papers on the dotted line.
Terrell is a former 13WMAZ Athlete of the Week and holds many records in track and field both in the state and nationally, and has her sights set on making the Olympics one day.
"Clemson has produced multiples of Olympians, and I trust them with myself because I don't just want to go to any school that says, "Yeah, we're going to make you into an Olympian," especially if they don't have any proof. But Clemson, they have an awesome track and field program, number one in the ACCs."
