Both guys say Brewton Parker seemed like a good fit in their respective sports.
Shaw says he doesn't want to go in with lofty expectations after going through the recruiting process.
"He said I looked like a really good player, and I'll be playing second base, and Brewton Parker's mainly known for their baseball program and they're really good at baseball, so I don't want to go in and be a superstar," Shaw said.
Caleb said he was thankful for the opportunity to compete at the next level.
"That's when Coach Nigh came up to me and said, 'We'd love to have you on our team,'" Caleb recalled. "He told me to check out the school and then offered me a scholarship to pay my way to Brewton Parker, which I'm very lucky to have," he said.
Shaw wants to eventually become a youth pastor and Caleb wants to get his degree in education.
