By the end of the 2013 NFL Draft, these two Central Georgia natives hadn't heard their names called yet.
But their dreams of playing NFL football weren't over.
This is the time of year when teams look through the piles of undrafted players, hoping to find a diamond in the rough.
Recently, stars like Arian Foster, Antonio Gates, Victor Cruz and Tony Romo went undrafted, only getting a shot at gridiron fame as free agent signings.
Now, former Perry Panther Kanorris Davis and former Northside Eagle Abry Jones hope to add their name to that list.

The New England Patriots called with an invitation for Davis last Saturday night.
And Jones, who lettered at UGA as a defensive end, has joined the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Both teams kick off their 2013 schedule on September 8.
