Sunday some guys blended America's past time with a celebration of Father's Day.

The cardinals are an adult 18 and up baseball league.

They've got four sets of father son duos.

Dennis Meadows is the third base coach and enjoys spending time with hsi son Dakota..

Kevin Kericho man's the pitching mound.  His Dad, Jim does double duty playing and keeping stats.

We found Justin James taking a little time in the dugout while his Dad Richard James covers first base.

And we round it out with Dennis Ussery in right field and his son Ryan Ussery is at short stop.

The guys say all of this family is time is great but it does come with some drawbacks.

He pitched for Warner Robins High and now he's pitching for us," Jim Karika explained. I actually caught one of his games which isn't easy at 51 but it was a great experience and all and I played with my Dad when I was younger so I just couldn't wait to play with him.

"Its kind of weird though when he's catching coming out to the mound and yelling at me its fun and I've gone to all the games so I've always wanted to play with him," Kevin Karika added with a smile.

The Cardinals began this team back in 1993 and some of the guys are original members.
