ATLANTA (WXIA) -- Authorities are investigating a robbery that took place at the home of Atlanta Braves legend, Hank Aaron, on Monday.
Authorities discovered that Aaron's southwest Atlanta home had been burglarized around 11 p.m. on Sunday evening. Aaron stated that he had missed a call from the his alarm company and didn't speak to anyone so he sent someone over to check out the home the following Monday.
Once on the scene, officers discovered windows had been shattered, two vehicles were missing, a set of keys was missing, an entire box of jewelry was missing, wires had been cut and a closet had been ransacked.
Authorities were able to collect fingerprints as evidence on the scene to aid in locating possible suspects.
Friday morning, APD authorities located one of the missing vehicles on the 2900 block of Landrum Street and returned the vehicle to Aaron's home.
