Qualifying: The better of two laps will determine a driver's official qualifying speed for the AdvoCare 500. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Qualifying begins at 6:40 p.m. (EST) on Friday, Aug. 30. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will provide qualifying updates beginning at 6:20 p.m. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will also provide qualifying coverage online at beginning at 6:30 p.m. Cable channel Fox Sports 1 will begin coverage with a same day delay broadcast at 7:00 p.m.

Radio/TV: ESPN will televise the AdvoCare 500 live beginning at 7:30 p.m. with pre-race coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will also broadcast the race live to its affiliate stations beginning at 6:30 p.m.
