FVSU loses second straight to Savannah State

SAVANNAH - The Fort Valley State Wildcats dominated almost every statistic on paper against the SSU Tigers, Saturday on the road excpet for points, as they lost 27-20.

The Wildcats outrushed the Tigers 195-17 but also earned 22 penalties for 194 yards, which helped Coach Don Pittman pick up his second loss of the season.

Savannah's Antonio Bostick scored the game winning touchdown in the fourth quarter on a one yard dive with 4:26 left in the game.

Fort Valley travels to Atlanta next week to begin SIAC play with Clark Atlanta for a 3pm kickoff.
