Athens, GA (Sports Network) - Terrance Henry recorded a double-double consisting of 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Ole Miss Rebels held on for a 66-63 win over the Georgia Bulldogs in SEC play at Stegeman Coliseum.
Also scoring in double figures for the Rebels (13-6, 3-2 SEC) were Murphy Holloway and Nick Williams with 12 points apiece, while Reginald Buckner accounted for another 10 rebounds as the team won for the second time in as many games.
The Bulldogs (10-9, 1-4) were paced by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who posted a career-high 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-10 behind the three-point line. Gerald Robinson tacked on 19 points and six assists for the hosts as they lost for the fourth time in the last five outings.
Georgia shot a miserable 29.6 percent from the floor in the first half, including just 3-of-11 behind the three-point line, leading to the team's 34-23 deficit at the break.
In the second half the Bulldogs picked up the pace a bit with 41.7 percent shooting from the field, but it was a mere 14-of-27 showing at the free-throw line by the visitors that allowed Georgia to close the gap significantly.
Ole Miss grabbed the win despite converting only 2-of-8 behind the three-point line and 20-of-35 at the charity stripe.
