These days if you mention an NFL team there's a good chance the word 'lockout' will come up. That wasn't the case Tuesday, though, when it was all about the game for some young Falcons fans.
The Boys & Girls Club of Georgia Heartlands hosted a Falcons Gatorade Junior Training Camp at Fort Valley State.
The program, which travels around Georgia, aims to get kids active using an array of drills, many of which the kids can also do at home.
It's the first year the one-day camp has landed in Fort Valley. It is a good introduction to the game, but mostly an excuse to run around and have fun.
"We're not out here teaching x's and o's," Falcons Community Relations Manager Chris Millman said. "We're here to just get the kids physically active, get them running around, showing them that football is a great way to go out and have fun."
