Flowery Branch, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they have agreed to terms with safety Thomas DeCoud.
DeCoud had 109 tackles, a career-high four interceptions and seven passes defended last season.
"Thanks for all the congratulations everyone...looking forward to taking my game to the next level and help the falcons take that next step," DeCoud said via his Twitter account.
Originally selected by the Falcons in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft, the 27-year-old Cal product has 335 tackles, two sacks, eight interceptions, four forced fumbles and 19 passes defended in 58 career games.
