Bogota, Colombia (Sports Network) - Billy Horschel posted his second straight
five-under 66 on Friday to take the lead at the midpoint of the Colombia
Championship.
Horschel, a first-round co-leader, finished 36 holes at 10-under 132 and is
two strokes clear at the Country Club de Bogota.
Brian Smock, who also shared the first-round lead, shot a three-under 68 and
is second at minus-eight.
Erik Flores (68) and Michael Sim (65) are knotted in third at seven-under 135.
The final first-round leader, Peter Lonard, only managed a one-under 70 on
Friday and shares fifth with Andrew Svoboda, who fired a five-under 66 in
round two. The pair is tied at six-under 136.
