Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Sports Network) - Robert Garrigus birdied seven of
nine holes en route to a 7-under 64 on Friday and that spurt gave him a 2-
stroke lead after two rounds of the CIMB Classic.
Garrigus, a 3-time runner-up on the PGA Tour in 2012, finished 36 holes at 14-
under-par 128. With lift, clean and place conditions in play, that cost
Garrigus that 36-hole scoring record.
Jbe' Kruger, who played alongside Tiger Woods on Friday, also fired a 64 to
move into second place at minus-12.
First-round leader Troy Matteson managed a 2-under 69 and dipped into a share
of third at 10-under 132. He was joined there by Greg Chalmers (66).
Woods carded a 4-under 67 to end 36 holes at 9-under 133. He stands alongside
Kevin Na (66) and Brendon de Jonge (65) in fifth place.
Last year's winner Bo Van Pelt carded a 65 to jump into a tie for 11th at
minus-7 at The Mines Resort and Golf Club.
