The cream of the crop of American Junior Athletics is heading to Indiana for the 2012 USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships next week And two of those athletes attending are from right here in Central Georgia.
Howard's Anasterasia Terrell and Rutland's Tyler Ragin, will treat fans to a glimpse of the future of USA Track & Field as the best high school standouts and the most promising college freshmen face off on the campus of Indiana University.
Terrell will compete in the 100m hurdles and the triple jump, while Ragin will sprint in the 100m and 200m plus will challenge the field in the long jump.
This meet will serve as a qualifier for this year's World Junior Championships. Top performers will be part of the American team that will compete in Barcelona, Spain in July.
