At the Little League Southeast Headquarters, baseball and softball tournaments are underway, bringing players and families from across the Southeast.
But while the players are on the field trying to bring home the win, local restaurants and business are trying to win customers.
At Johnny's New York Pizza and Casa Mexico II near the stadium, owners say business spiked with the tournament in town, especially with baseball teams that bring in parties of 40 or more people.
Highway 96, which runs near the stadium, is an area with multiple types of restaurants and cuisines that restaurant owners say is a good part of Warner Robins for business.
And visitors enjoyed the Southern hospitality they've felt since arriving. "From the moment we walked in the door at the hotel to coming to field, everyone's been appreciative of us being here and very, very friendly."
