Thursday Tattnall's Ivey Slaughter had three college hats out on the table.
And then, with a bit of a drumroll from the audience, she pulled out a giant Florida State flag and made it official for her choice to play ball at the next level.
The senior tore her meniscus last year.
But in her sophomore campaign, she averaged a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds a game.
Even with the injury, big schools came to visit, like UCLA, North Carolina, and Georgia Tech. Slaughter says she's glad the recruiting process is finished and she can concentrate on the season.
"I am really happy to put this behind me. It was overwhelming getting calls everyday or every other week. It was just like, 'Oh my gosh. Mom, can you take this one?,'" she said with a smile.
The Seminoles told the standout if she works hard, she could make Florida State history.
