The Central Georgia Technical College Lady Cougars extended their school record winning streak to 11 games after beating Atlanta Metro State College, 67-50 on Saturday.
Led by sophomore Amari Moreland with 15 points and 6 rebounds, the Lady Cougars charged out in the second half after leading 26-12 at the break.
NJCAA Top 40 player and fellow sophomore Jasmine Grier also added 13 points and 5 rebounds to help improve CGTC to 16-3 on the season. The Lady Cougars are one game behind Darton College for sole possession of second place in GCAA Division I basketball.
The Lady Cougars next home game is against top seeded Georgia Highlands Saturday, January 19 at two.
