Macon, GA - Playing out a full court run-and-gun game plan, Agnes Scott was able to wear down Wesleyan College on Tuesday night, defeating the Pioneers by a score of 78-38.
The Scotties got off 88 shots in the game as compared to Wesleyan's 51, and eight of the 10 players on their bench scored. Agnes Scott was led by Shavonne Orr (21 points/7 rebounds), Genefine Sapateh (20 points/11 rebounds) and Morgan Cooper (17 points/13 rebounds).
Wesleyan's Nevia Lewis scored a season-high 15 points while dishing out six assists and blocking two shots.
The Pioneers travel to Jacksonville, Fla., on Thursday afternoon to play Trinity Baptist College at 6:00pm. They will not return to Porter Gymnasium again until Feb. 2.
