Mercer Announces Spring Tune Up Prospect Camp

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer baseball program will host its 2018 Spring Tune Up Prospect Camp at OrthoGeorgia Park on Saturday, Jan. 13, head coach Craig Gibson announced Tuesday morning.

The one-day session will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for campers in the ninth grade and up. To register for the prospect camp, click here.

Campers will showcase their abilities by running the 60-yard dash and participating in fielding, throwing, pitching and hitting drills. Instruction will be provided throughout the camp from Mercer’s coaching staff, including Gibson, associate head coach Brent Shade, assistant coach Willie Stewart and volunteer assistant coach Ian Humphrey. Lunch will be provided at Mercer’s cafeteria and all campers will receive a ticket to the Mercer men’s basketball game at 4 p.m. that afternoon in Hawkins Arena.
