Ogden, UT (Sports Network) - Scott Bamforth led four Wildcats in double-
figures with 22 points as Weber State cruised by the Northern
Colorado Bears, 79-54, in Big Sky Action at the Dee Events Center.
Bamforth was 5-of-7 from 3-point range in the Weber State (8-3, 3-0 Big Sky)
victory. Gelaun Wheelwright scored 13 points off the bench while Kyle Tresnak
and Jordan Richardson scored 10 points a piece in Weber State's fourth
straight win.
For the Bears (3-8, 1-2), Tate Unruh recorded a team-high 15 points and six
rebounds but was the only player in double-figures. The loss marks Northern
Colorado's third straight defeat.
Weber State opened up on a 7-0 run and never looked backed, eventually taking
a 43-26 advantage at the half.
The Wildcats were 13-of-25 from the floor while holding the Bears to a mere 2-
of-6 from long range in the second half.
Weber State was 30-of-55 from the floor including 9-of-19 from beyond the arc,
while Northern Colorado hit on just 20-of-53 field goal attempts.
