Greeley, CO (Sports Network) - Scott Bamforth scored a game-high 20 points,
leading five players in double figures, as the Weber State Wildcats captured
an 85-64 win over the Northern Colorado Bears in Big Sky Conference action at
Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion.
Frank Otis accounted for 15 points, Kyle Tresnak and Davion Berry 12 apiece,
followed by Gelaun Wheelwright with 10 points as the Wildcats (15-5, 10-2 Big
Sky) posted their second straight win.
The Bears (6-14, 4-8) were paced by Addo Emmanuel and Paul Garnica with 11
points apiece, while Tevin Svihovec tacked on 10 as they lost for the third
time in the last four outings.
WSU shot a sizzling 62.1 percent from the floor in the first half, all while
holding the Bears to 32.3 percent, en route to a 45-25 margin at the break.
In the second half the Wildcats continued to shoot the ball well at 59.1
percent as they easily claimed the 21-point win on the road.
Weber State finished the night hitting 8-of-17 from 3-point range.
